I’ve been building websites since the ’90s. I love the web. I love websites. I am a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and voting member of the Webby® Awards. Over the course of my 20+ year career as a software engineer, web developer, and educator, I’ve worked on hundreds of interactive video games and websites. I’ve developed video games and software at Sony, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Hasbro, Wizard Of the Coast, and built websites for artists, photographers, filmmakers, and universities. As a Program Dean at The Los Angeles Film School, I was the principal creator of the first interactive entertainment degree program in Hollywood.

In 2012, I went looking for a more meaningful way to pursue my desire to help address the big global issues through social change, and headed to New York City to attend graduate school at The New School. There, I studied at the intersection of documentary media and technology to cultivate my passion for the Web and social impact. In 2014, I created a web agency that later morphed into WebsiteSteward, and continue to build and support organizations aimed at protecting Earth, environmental sustainability, neurodiversity, and social good.

Current Projects:
  • WebsiteSteward – Helping nonprofits and NGO’s manage, maintain, and SEO optimize their websites.
  • TelescopeTrader – Helping amatuer astronomers and astrphotographers find and recycle good used telescope gear.
  • Ocotillo Center for Art + Photography – A grassroot art and photography education center in San Manuel, Arizona.
